Wilma Rudolph

Wilma Rudolph was the first african-american to participate in the olympics. When wilma was 4 years oldshe got a desease on her left leg and everyday her brothers would massage her leg. When she became 7 her left leg got stronger. Wilma was born on Novembeer in Tennesee.In 1956 she joined the olympics and was the youngest african american and won a bronze or silver necklace when she was six teen. She believes that she will join the olympics again. Wilma Rudolph made history and retired in 1962 and also won an award. She also graduated in 1963.
