Almost School

I'm kinda sad that is's almost school but kinda happy. I wish we still had one more week to stay at home but sometimes I wish it wasn't because I kinda miss school now. I don't know why but I miss school. Sometimes at home you do nothing but the same thing over and over. When I was at school it felt better than at home because we get to do different things but at home we get to do the same things.

The Days After Christmas

I wish it was still christmas. I would always get so much present. Today is the Sunday a couple days after Christmas. We still miss christmas and still talk about it at home, store, or at relative's houses. I wonder if next year would go fast but I wish it would only go slow on december the month of christmas.

My favorite thing to do is drawing

My favorite thing to do is draw. I like to draw because when I was in fourth my aunt would always draw cute stuff for me. When I go to her house I would always ask her to help me draw like her. When ever she helped me finish my drawing she would always tell me that it was great. Every time I try to draw I think of my aunt helping me draw.

My favorite desert

My favorite desert is strawberry ice cream. Strawberry ice cream is my favorite ice cream because i like strawberry's. I like strawberry ice cream because it has little bumps on the outside and it is crunchy when you eat it. I like strawberry ice cream because it taste very sweet. I like strawberry ice cream because it has strawberry's inside it. If I were to pick a desert I would definitely pick strawberry ice cream instead of other deserts.

My Favorite sports

My Favorite sport is swimming and volleyball. I like volleyball because when ever me and my family members are doing something we usually play volleyball so we wouldn't be bored. I like swimming because we go to beaches and rivers mostly. I like those two sports because in my family every one loves those sport. Ever since I was little I was always taken to parks and river and ever since those days past I started liking swimming and volleyball.

Regal Eagle

Today at Regal Eagle we learned how to be considerate. Considerate means to think about others. Mr. Maiden told us a story abut this boy and he was always heart broken every single day. When Mr. Maiden was telling us the story he told us to put thumbs up or down to see if the people are doing the right thing to the boy in the story. When we putt our thumbs down that little boy's heart was getting ripped from piece to piece. after telling us that story we watched a movie about different kids that were laughed at. Some peple in the room was laughing and some were not. I beleive that the people that were laughing were bullies.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther Kings speech about "I have a Dream" is a speech about african americans and civil rights. He wanted people to be treated fairly and kindly. Martin Luther King Jr. wants slaves and slave owners to sit at a dinner table together. In his speech he wants to make every hill and mountain to be low and every rough place to be plain and crooked places to be straight. Martin Luther King wants everyone to have the same rights. Martin Luther King Jr. wants us to have freedom and do what ever we want. Martin Luther King Jr. speech goes all around the world.

Grimke' Sisters

The Grimke' Sister are Angelina Grimke' and Sarah Grimke'. The one thing that I know that they Grimke' sisters are that they are strong people. They are strong people because they were the only people who fought slavery. The grimke' sisters are special women from the past to the future to right now is because they were the only women who stopped slavery. The grimke' sisters are very caring people. The are caring people because they helped the slaves read and taught them how to write. They are also very strong people. They are strong people because they made a freedom speech at a city hall about slavery. While they were making that speech people who didn't like what she was doing started to bang on the door. When they couldn't get inside they burned the city hall down. After the city hall was burned down they fled away from that town. While they were running away Angelina wrote a letter to the newspaper owner so that he can publish it in the newspaper. Their friend wrote them a letter to not comeback because if they came back than they will get throw into jail. Before the civil war has even began more and more people started to say that they wanted to stop slavery too.

The characters in this story cares about their school that is going to be destroyed. Their school is called Edison Armstrong School.

Julio- he is a person who likes his teacher a lot because he is strict and sometimes makes fun of stuff

Cricket- she is a person that cares about the school because she saw something in the newspaper that said that they were going to close their school down and when she saw that she cut it out and showed it to her teacher and classmates.

Lucas- this person is a boy who doesn't care about the school and decided to fold the sheet of paper that cricket found in the newspaper and printed it for them.

Zoe- she is a person who also cares about the school and is also a new student and she says that this school is nicer.

Sara- she doesn't talk a lot but I think that she has a nice personality.

Arthur-he is a person who knows a lot about the school

Anne-she likes to write poems and suggested that she will write a song for the school

Joyce- she is a person who is nice and cares about the community thats why she suggested that they plant flowers in front of the school

What should I be for Hallowen Night

One day when Scarlet and Cerenady were walking to school they were talking about what they should be for Halloween. They were best friends ever since kindergarten. They lived in a town called Trick or Treat Ville.

" What should I be for Halloween?" said Cerenady
" I know, and if I don't choose before next week I am going to be the same person from last year." said Scarlet
When they reach their school called Trick or Treat Middle School the bell rang and they hurried for their classroom. Their teacher was called Ms.Trick. Some people thought her name was stupid but some thought it was nice. Ms. Trick named herself that because she likes to trick people and people thought she was the queen at tricks. When they got to class they had a substitute called Mrs. Rosa. She was a nice teacher.


" Okay class we are going to draw first today and write about it." asked Mrs. Rosa " First I have a question for all of you. What are you going to be for Halloween?"
After she said that everyone started to shout out except for Scarlet and Cerenady.
" Girls why don't you answer my question?" she asked
" Its because we haven't picked out a costume yet that's all" said Cerenady and Scarlet
" Okay than, why don't we start drawing first. Um .... you in the red tell me whats your name?" said Mrs. Rosa asked pointing to him


" Me? " said the boy and Mrs. Rosa nodded
" Um my name is Daniel" said Daniel
" Okay than Daniel will you come and pass out the white pieces of paper." said Mrs. Rosa
Daniel nodded and came up and grab the white paper and started passing it out. While Daniel was passing the paper out Scarlet and Cerenady were still talking about what to be for Halloween and when the papers came to them they didn't even notice it. Until the teacher said no talking. After they started to write they stopped and started to think what they are going to draw for the sentences or paragraph.


After two or three hours the project was done and Scarlet and Cerenady still haven't finish drawing and writing for their costume. When Daniel finished collecting it Mrs. Rosa looked at the papers and shock to find that Sharpay's and Cerenady's papers were blank.
" Sharpay and Cerenady please come up here" said Mrs. Rosa
They stood up from their chair and went to Mrs. Rosa
" Yes Mrs. Rosa" Scarlet said
" Why didn't you and Cerenady finish your drawing and writing?" said Mr. Rosa
" Um.... well we didn't finish because we didn't know what to draw or write" said Cerenady
" I want you two to bring this home and turn it in next Monday day I will be here, so don't forget to give me those papers or I will give you both a F" said Mrs. Rosa
" Okay" they both said at the same time


After we went to lunch and came back from recess Mrs. Rosa told us to take out our reading book and read our new story called " Back From the Past". The story was about the a president. After we read it she told us to take out our spelling and comprehension folder. We had to do spelling for homework. after we put the folders away the bell rang and then we had to pack up and home. When we were finished packing up Mrs. Rosa excused us to go and when we went home we passed a costume shop and we thought about just going but then sharpay said that we should go in there. We went into the store and it had like a lot and I mean like over a thousand costumes in there even thought the store looks so small on the out side but the inside is like huge. We were walking around until this lady in her forty's came to us.


" How may I help you two young lady's" she said to us
" Oh, um..... we were just looking and when we need your help we can come to you" said Scarlet
" Okay be sure to contact me" after she said that she left us
While we were walking we saw some cute and scary costumes but we didn't know what to pick. We picked out like five costumes and went to go try them out they were a good fit but we didn't know what to pick until that lady that we meet came and told us to buy the one that we were trying on and we said we don't know yet.


After you guys said that you guys went home. You and Scarlet were neighbors. When Cerenady reach her house she said bye to Scarlet and left to her room while she went to her room and pass the calendar. She went back to look at it and didn't know that Halloween was in a week from now. Cerenady ran to the phone and called Scarlet to tell her that Halloween was in one week. The next day was Saturday and that was the day they went back to the shop to go find a costume to wear on next Saturday night. You guys meet that lady from yesterday and ask for her name and she said her name was Ashley. We asked her what she was going to be for Halloween and she said that she was going to be a fairy. While she was talking to us she said that we should be a witches. We said that we didn't know where the witch costumes were at and she said that they were at the far left. When we went to the far right we heard Ashely talking to a man and he said something that we didn't know.
" What are you trying to do to these two girls" the man said
" I'm not doing anything to them I'm just trying to tell them they fit better being a witch" said Ashely


We went to go tell her that we will be here on Thursday. to come and pick out a costume because we still don't know what to pick. A week later which people at school call " Halloween Week" they called this week Halloween night because Halloween was this week and that was the week we had to turn in our paper and go pick out our costumes. We thought about taking our mom with us on Friday night. We had to wait for two days for Thursday to come. Soon Thursday came and we dragged our mom to come with us to pick out a costume and we went to the exact place for the witch costumes. We were searching when our moms told us to try out a purple outfit and a blue outfit for tomorrow. We went to the fitting room and tried it on and when we came out we looked almost like a witch. Our mom suggested that we should buy those costumes so we bought them. The next day we wore our costumes to school and had a party.

We entered the costume contest and we were so close to winning but we lost it was a good contest too. After that day we went trick or treating for candy's and treats. After that day we went to go thank Ashley from the costume store, but when we went there the store was gone. We went to ask people around here about what happened to that costume store and they all said they didn't see a costume store right there it was only an empty spot. After that day we never forgot about that store and the secret about that store is that it only comes when Halloween is coming but mostly the secret about Ashley is that she was a real fairy from a different world.

Central Tendence

Today we have about four ways of doing math for you to understand. They are called mean, median, mode, and range. First lets talk about them in order.

Mean is something that you add all the numbers that are shown on the paper or board and then you divide by the number given'. For example if you have 1,5, 10, 8, 4, 14, 9. You will have to add them all up and then divide by the number there are.

Median is going to tell you what number is in the middle. When you are doing median you will have to put them from least to greatest. For example 1, 5, 10, 8, 4, 14, 9. You will have to put them from least to greatest and find the number in the middle.

Mode is the number that appears the most. For an example 1, 5, 5, 2, 10, 5, are your numbers. Find the number that appears the most.

Range is the number that you will add the highest and the lowest number together and then divide by 2. For example if you have 21, 3, 6, 22 then you will have to add 22 and 3 together and then divide.

I also have a new way to do math and it is called Stem and Leaf. It is like you have two sides for you to put the numbers in and you will have to put the number that is in the tens place on the left side and put the ones on the right side.

Mask

Today we learned to take off our mask from our face. We learned today about a sad story. It was about a teacher when he was at home going to school. When he was about to leave to school the bus drove away and he was chasing after it. Some of his friends went to ask the bus driver to stop and some just waved at him. He went back home and his mom ask him what's wrong and he said that he miss the bus in a angry way. His mom took him to school and she was humming a song for him to take off the angry mask from his face. When he got to school he went up to his friend and said sorry to him about everything that he did to him. After the teacher told us about his story we played hula hoop.

Recess

Me and my friends agree on having Dodge ball in the school. We all want a area were we can play doge ball at. I want to play it like every single day. We want to know if you can give us the supplies to play. We also agreed on having swings. we want it next to the playground with six swings on it. Most of our class agreed on dodge ball so please give us dodge ball or the swings.

Life and Deaf (water)

Today we went to a assembly and it was about life and deaf in the water. I was very happy that they told us about drowning. They told us that when we are swimming in a pool,lake, or a river to were a lifejacket so we wont drown. They told us that when ever we are swimming we need a swimming buddy so that when you drown your buddy can call for help. They even said that if a family member has a boat or other things that ride in the water they should have a bag that has ropes in there and I am sorry for getting the name of it. They even told us if we have a lifejacket and when you get a lifejacket make sure that it fits you perfectly and if don't fit and it is too bigthanit will just come right off you so get one that fits you.

What I did over my summer vacation

The next day after I went off track I was watching my baby sisters while my mom and dad went to school. While in the afternoon they came home and my baby sisters were asleep. After they went to sleep I wrote a post on my blog about my birthday how I use to hate being the birthday girl. Now on the rest of the days I was on the computer, reading, ride my bike, or I was busy watching my baby sisters. One day it was my moms and my aunty Jamie's birthday so we did a surprise birthday for them. After the surprise party they played a game called marriage and when the music stop and the last one who don't have partner has to do something funny. After that day we went to my cousins house they were eating for some ones birthday. After that day I went to my other cousins house and sleep over there and the next day my parents came to pick me up to go home but mostly to watch the baby's. Thats what I get for wanting sisters. the next day I went to Walmart togo buy a binder, pencil, and white out. That was the day I spend all my money. After that day was over we had a birthday party.

Hey Its Almost My Birthday

I am so happy these days because it almost my birthday and I am going to get lots of presents. I use to hate being the birthday girl but now when I'm older I don't pretty much hate it any more. I am so happy to that I am going state fairs to "yeah". This year I want to know what I am getting. Probably clothes as usual or barbie dolls that I wont play with. Sometimes I think that they always give me 5 and younger toys only.

Education

The president of the united states is telling me that my education is more than a weapon. I have no different path. All I need is a education to give me all that I need. If I don't get my education than god will help me get it. I Just need respect for myself and i don't want people to disrespect me. He told me that I need education to go through everything in my life.

Xbox

Mr. Barack Obama is trying to tell us that if we are going to listen to our parents words we need some changes. That means that we need to put games, computer, and song. We need to put the kids to sleep at 8:00 or 8:30. Everyday now they can wake up and go to school and wont feel tired. He wants us to learn more than usual. He wants us to have a scholar ship and go to a great college. He feels that if we stay up to late we can't learn that much because we still have a time limit of sleeping. he thinks the best for all kids even high school kids too or even people in college.

Aspire

Barack Obama told me another speech that I am thinking that I have a good start but I don't. The president of the United States don't want me to be like Lil Wanye. He wants me to get a good carrier like a teacher, scientist or a lawyer not just some people who sings. He wants me to be the next president or the next educated person. I want to be a teacher because it helps kids and help them inspire their dreams. Someday I want to be like Barack Obama right now because he made the best speech for a kids and parents.

Barack Obama

Barack Obama said that my destiny is in my own hands. I should have no purpose for my future. My future is what I choose and I will never forget that. I only need what is best for me. I can no longer let people choose my destiny for me. Any time now I will think what is best for me. I am going to be responsible for what I think and do. I can not let myself go on the wrong path.

My favorite sport

My favorite sport is volleyball. I like volleyball because in my family and at my mom and dads side we play alot of volleyball. One time we played at the park boys versus girls and we won that was the best volleyball game ever. I like this sport because it involes my family members.

My Favorite song

My favorite song is Battlefield. I like that song because it reminds me of my uncle who was shot on the head and he was also a cop. I remember when I went to his funeral. I can only think of him from that song now. I like that song because of my uncle, a cop, and why I like it.

My favorite show

My favorite cartoon show is Fairy Odd Parents. I like that show because it shows a boy who's parents don't care about him and gives him a babysitter that is very mean but they don't know. It also shows how he is very miserable and gets fairys. In the rest of the episodes it shows that the fairys wants a baby and thats the best episode that I liked the most. Thats my favorite cartoon show than any other show.

My Favorite Book

My Favorite book is The Cricket in times Square. I like that book because it talks about a cricket. The chapter that I mostly like is when they celebrate a party for their new friend. When the cricket gets homesick and the little boy starts to feel sad for him. I like the book because it has three friends, they celebrate and the cricket gets homesick.

Which cereal can I eat three times a day?

I could eat frosted flakes three times a day. Ican eat frosted flakes three times a day because the taste is sweet. The texture of the cereal is hard but when you mix it up with milk it becomes soft very slowly. When you eat the cereal pieces it is very crunchy and when it is soft it is very sweet and it can like melt in your mouth like a marshmallow in a hot coco. It makes me feel like i'm in a dream land.

Wilma Rudolph

Wilma Rudolph was the first african-american to participate in the olympics. When wilma was 4 years oldshe got a desease on her left leg and everyday her brothers would massage her leg. When she became 7 her left leg got stronger. Wilma was born on Novembeer in Tennesee.In 1956 she joined the olympics and was the youngest african american and won a bronze or silver necklace when she was six teen. She believes that she will join the olympics again. Wilma Rudolph made history and retired in 1962 and also won an award. She also graduated in 1963.

My AR Book

My AR book is about a babysitter club. The babysitters are Kristy Thomas the president, Claudia Kishi the vice-president, Mary Anne Spier the secretary, and Stacey McGill the treasurer and in the other agency club their names are Liz Lewis the president, Michelle Patterson the secretary Cathy Moris a normal babysitter and two other boy in their group. Stacey used to live in New York City but she moved away from there because she has some kind of desease of diabetes so they moved from there to conneticut. Something very bad happens that tries to knock them down from their babysitting bussiness is that a new and older kids start a babysitting agency too. After the day at their school they tried to find more members like the other agency but now they found two eight graders that pretened to hate Liz Lewis tried to destroy their bussiness. I like this story because it talks about four freinds life making a bussiness and never giving up on any one. Stacey is going back to New York to take her test and take away her desease.

Treehouse

I woild rather spend a whole week in a treehouse because youcan bring snacks and place it on the floor. You can also bring alot of your freinds in the treehouse because its on a tree and the tree can protect you from tipping of or getting injured. I would play anything in the treehouse like you can bring your gameboy or nintendo. A treehouse is good because you can be protected by when there are strangers and thebad thing about the treehouse is when the treehouse has a hole in the middle and someone steps on it and they fall down their bone would be broken.

Vacation

When I get my vacation I want to go on a cruise or to the ocean with the waves. I want to take my cousins, aunts, and uncles. i want to be the best swimmer and faster than all my aunties and uncles. I want to be a person who takes pictures of landscapes and people. I want to beleive in my dreams so it can suceed. I want everyone to suceed in their dreams so don't stop dreaming. =)

My Goals for 6th Grade

For 6th grade I want to improving in reading and in math. I like math but in 5th grade I got a low grade so this year in 6th gradei want to improve it. I want to be good in writing because I got low grade to the bottom. I want to learn how to read faster in reading and learnhow to write storys about my life from pre school through highschool when I graduate. In 6th grade i want to learn how to be an author or a publisher. I want to learn how to sketch or draw. I beleive that 6th grade this year is going to be better than the rest of the other years except for 4th grade because me and my 4th grade teacher had
lots of fun while I was in his class. I am going to suceed in all of my dreams in 6th grade before I graduate.
